David Tennant now has a profile on the Absolute Radio website.

Joining Christian at breakfast in November.
Introducing the latest addition to the Absolute Radio line-up, Doctor Who.
We’re very excited to announce that David Tennant will be presenting a run of breakfast shows with Christian O’Connell this autumn. Our favourite star of Saturday teatime told The OC that he wasn’t interested in simply coming in for an hour here or there, he wanted to do the full 6am to 10am.
In fact David’s said he wants to beat Christian in for the pre-show scrum at 5:15 and fire his own ideas into the pot, which at the very least means that we’ll be spared the Nickname Game and Doc Hollywood for a few days.
Will The OC be upstaged, will veteran Absolute Radio security guard Martin be able to cope with a Golden Square full of David’s adoring fans and will the two hosts still be friends at the end of the week? We’ll find out in November.

Doctor Who actor to join breakfast show for a week in November in the run-up to his final appearance as the Time Lord
Doctor Who actor David Tennant is to guest-host the Absolute Radio breakfast show for a week in November in the run-up to his final appearance as the Time Lord.
Tennant, who will step down from his role as the doctor after three specials that will air towards the end of this year, will co-host the show with his friend and regular frontman Christian O’Connell.
O’Connell said on his Twitter page: “All done deal – David Tennant will be co-hosting the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show with me for a week in November! And i mean in from 6-10am!”
Tony Moorey, Absolute’s programme manager, added: “It’s hard to think of a celebrity more loved by the British public. When you combine that with David’s sense of humour and the on-air relationship he’s formed with Christian O’Connell in recent interviews, it’s clear that these shows will be must-listen makes. Seriously, who wouldn’t give Doctor Who a show?”
Tennant’s appearance is part of Absolute Radio’s new autumn schedule, which will also see Iain Lee take up a new weekday evening show, Frank Skinner on Saturday mornings and Dave Gorman on Sundays.
Absolute Radio, which was previously called Virgin Radio, will also celebrate a year since it was rebranded by closing Regent Street in London for the first time to stage a concert on 27 September with the band Madness.

David Tennant would be the dream headteacher for primary school children, a survey has found.
The Doctor Who star topped a poll of children’s dream headteachers, seeing off competition from US President Barack Obama, Harry Potter author JK Rowling and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.
Steve Munby- chief executive of the National College for the Leadership of Schools and Children’s Services (NCSL), which carried out the poll – said: “I’m not surprised to see David Tennant at the top of the list alongside positive feedback about their own heads who are obviously role models in their own right.”
Asked the reasons for their choice, almost half (47 per cent) of the nine to 11-year-olds polled said it was because their chosen celebrity was “fun”.
A third (33 per cent) said they had picked “someone they could look up to”, while the same proportion cited the celebrity’s popularity as a reason.
More than a quarter (27 per cent) picked someone for their intelligence.
The children were given a list of celebrities to choose from, with 26 per cent picking Tennant. President Obama, Cole, and Rowling each received 9 per cent of the vote.
Around one in eight (12 per cent) said they would pick none of those on the list as their dream choice.
