Scottish stars including David Tennant, Robert Carlyle, Peter Capaldi and Bill Paterson have been nominated for this year’s BAFTA Scotland Awards, with hit political comedy In The Loop also in the spotlight after receiving a triple nomination.

In the male Acting in TV category David Tennant received a nomination for his starring role Dr Who, taking on Robert Carlyle for The Unloved and Bill Paterson for Spanish Flu – The Forgotten Fallen.
