It’s been a while since I’ve updated Tennantively with Tennantcast information – my bad!

A short episode this time! For this recording, Kelsey and Kari are there (kind of like old times) since Flossie can’t be with them because of a recording mix-up. But as her spirit is there, the two girls talk about David and Pudsey, reading bedtime stories (in which Kari has been waiting for this moment) and how David narrowly missed Zachary Quinto at the NTAs (in which Kelsey would have combusted and died from) but he’s still with the lovely Catherine Tate. They watched the St. Trinian’s II trailer (giggling like bmmad) and will be atching the rest of the video, plus Waters of Mars and Dreamland discussions will be on next time because Flossie threatened if she heard “waters” and “mars” in the same sentence. Of course picture comment of the day is always an inspirational moment and the big hub that started it all, Tennantively, has a brand spanking new layout!

Once again the character series is destined for another episode but in its stead there are promises of a Tennantcast promo with hopes of drawing more David Tennant fans to the fold. Character series suggestions are still needed, feel free to leave them in the comments.

In the news this week, David has been nominated for ‘Best Actor’ by the TV Times, leading our three hosts to discuss the competition. Managing to tie in The Beatles, Kari and Kelsey show they aren’t just David Tennant fangirls but also big Beatles fans, something regular listeners will no doubt already know. Also in the news, David attended the West End premiere of Speaking in Tongues featuring John Simm and Flossie earned some jealousy from American fans by having tickets. They investigate Sarah Jane Adventures pictures and the question is asked, what IS Under the Radar magazine (featuring tall and Scottish David Tennant this month). The picture comment of the day delights and confuses our hosts as they ponder a snapshot from David reading for Virgin Radio while apparently dressed in full costume for the role!

We’re double our ten – we’ve reached twenty episodes! Speaking of twenties, Kari just turned 21 the 23 of September so yay for legallness! (in the US atleast). Apparently Kelsey and Kari aren’t so popular on their birthday but Flossie shares a birthday with the likes of Kurt Cobain, Gordon Brown and Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys. For the news we talk about Glorious 39 and how John Barrowman hearts David. Please note there ARE spoilers here and if you don’t want to listen to them there will be a warning before hand telling which time you can conveniently jump to to avoid them. For picture comment of the day Flossie expresses her admiration for David Morrissey during the David/David tango in Blackpool. Another break from the character series, we do a little bit of 411 on David’s favorite things – and proven not so favorite things with the girls. Chris also makes his first “real” appearance discussing British politics *gasp* Stay tuned for a special little “behind the scenes” surprise if you will later on!

All at Tennantcast!

David Tennant? Fabio?! Richard Simmons?!? This and so much more is discussed in a very lively and laughter-filled episode of Tennantcast. Your hosts Kelsey, Kari, and Flossie have quite a merry discussion of what David’s alternative jobs could be, which lead into a game once played between our previous editor and Kelsey. Our news segment was mostly filled with discussion of absurd laws, short term memory, and if David likes roller coasters. Our Picture Comment of the Day poses an important question of “what would you do if you found David tied to your bed like in the Friday Night Project episode?” and is answered with yet another picture that begs the question of one’s reaction if you found him staring in your window with “that face”. Our Character Series had some technical difficulties with server issues, so we decided to get the smallest role out of the way – his one liner in Jude. All of this is topped with the cherry of terrible photo manipulations and a certain enthusiastic dance instructor.

Your usual guest hosts Kelsey, Kari and Flossie are joined by the likes of a fun guest host – Meleena! She’s quite a unique fan, as not many can say they have a song written about David Tennant for their birthday (which you can totally jam out to at the end of the podcast)! We talked about a very cold, dirty, Thames-swimming David Tennant in our Picture Comment of the Day, and enjoyed being utterly confused by Nine and Half Minutes. The girls finished up by remarking over his terrible blonde highlights and get distracted by some of the strangest youtube videos known to fans. And as a side note, we had loads of fun – almost too much – and are now slowly collecting pieces for a future blooper take. Update time! We’ve got videos galore today, including the very popular PBS interview and part one and two of the RSAMD interviews (note: apparently these were filmed in 2007, but were released this year. Huh.) Also, if you’ve been keeping up with our ever growing podcast, Tennantcast, you’ll know that we will be discussing Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) and I’ve made videos. I’m working on screencaps as well.
